About Us

Established in 1956-Pasadena, CA as a surplus line broker, offering personal tourist auto, aircraft & watercraft coverage for Mexico.

In 1999 the Mexican broker of Lopez & Viana (now Protección Técnica Internacional) acquired M&E to work on commercial business. In 2003, the commercial book of ING Seguros US liaison office joins M&E and relocates to downtown Los Angeles.

We work along with all international, regional/local brokers and agents. Also, we’ve established a close relationship with major US International carriers regarding their programs in Mexico.

We have more than 50 years of combined experience in Mexican Insurance. Our staff is fully bilingual to service our clients on both sides of the border. This experience has allowed us to develop special programs for our client’s specific needs in commercial lines and personal lines.
